Um. Hi. It's been awhile lol.
I was FULLY immersed in NaNoWriMo. I did not end up writing a single story, but rather several different ones, including one that spark off a discussion in my fandom server that survived for an entire 24 hour window. It wasn't AS coherent as last year' fanfictions, but it was still fun, and I crossed the finish line with 339 words over 50k on the 29th.
I also managed to get my fic-in-progress into a document with the finished and unfinished chapters sorted and like... y'all, it's well on its way to 70k. 70k of nothing happening. HOW did this come out of my brain??
As you can imagine, nothing else happened. No sewing. I did finish a knitting project which was a test knit that was originally due mid-October, and felt less guilty about working on other ones I had started already. I have not yet pulled out the Christmas tree, but that was more to keep my retail-working roommate from imploding before December.
I found out that the very sweet kitty I petted in October was available for adoption, but after discussing with roomies, we weren't 100% convinced we're the right home for her. SO sad!! But she was raised on a farm and wandered around, we'd have to try and keep her in the house :( No kitty for us yet.
Just, pandemic life. Whee.
ALso, anti-depressants are still doing their job. I am feeling OK. Tired AF, and i suspect winter will be rough regardless bc SAD, but if they can keep me from laying in bed 24/7 and/or jumping in front of buses, it'll be a win.
