(no subject)
Visited the beanies yesterday. They have been introduced to a large-ish doggo who is living in their space for the past few days, and while they are not fans, he is very respectful of their space and took exception to me holding them hehe. At one point I sat in the hallway to pet miss Sophie and she was like "yes, I remember you" and spent a few minutes climbing in and around my lap to play. This bodes well for their introduction into a home that has dogs, as long as the dogs are cat-saavy.
Put a few rows into the test knit (yesterday's ugh was because it took me SO DANG LONG to let them know I was going to be so so SO late) and mostly watched M play video games all day. Looked at a few blouse patterns but I couldn't fully settle on what to make so I chilled. I was Made Aware (tm) of a modern pattern with some serious 19teens vibes and I keep waffling on whether or not I want to get it. I like it but do I LIKE IT like it? Is that THE LOOK (tm) I am going for? Should I try out some of the ones I already have first? I will have lots of time today to review some options, I'm going to be stuck at a desk for a good portion of the day.
I did cut out a new lining for the shirt that ended up too small when I tried it on with my regular bra. That's another thing I need to figure out, I have ONE bra that actually fits the way it's supposed to, but I don't love it because it's "full coverage" and I am very aware of the fact that the tops come up super high and at least one cup has a lot of empty space in the top bc of my breast shape. I'd like to try a demi or balconette style, but the place I've been purchasing from doesn't carry the size I'd likely need in store. So I'd also like to maybe branch out into bra-making? I've been eyeing it for several years at this point, so it may finally happen.
