I just watched Nana 2 :D
For Shilo's reference: it ends somewhere in book 10 so it's mostly safe to watch :D
There were a lot of actor changes from the first one. I guess most were OK. The new Hachiko was cute enough, except when she got a huge-ass grin on her face, and then she looked like a monkey >.> Not much to say about the new Ren, he didn't have much of an appearance.
The new Shin, however, is FUCKING ADORABLE. I squeed like every time he appeared, because he was so fucking cute, all the time! *flails madly* (Just looked him on IMDB; he was the age that Shin is supposed to be when this was made, so it totally fits. OM-F-G, I want to keep him.)
Movie overall = meh. The series started off really entertaining-like, and then it just got kinda depressing. And doesn't improve much by volume 17, at the very least (I'm behind...) This movie was the start of the depressing stuff, and a lot of it was cut out, even x_x But I can almost forget a lot of it, just as long as Shin's around :D
My ultimate Nana pairings, being the ridiculous fandom shipper that I am, would be Nana^2, followed by HachixNobu and NanaxRen. Nana^2 would the BEST.
Also, the songs are good. Pleased.

I am so with you ._. i forced myself to sit through it to accurately report on it's potential spoiler factor, but EUGH. It doesn't get any better from here, either x_x
