I think I may have come upon the reason why I dislke Arwen so much. TNT is having a LOTR movie marathon, which I'm watching sections of since the plan for today was pretty much collect more nudie cards and my feet are tired. Eowyn was much more a "let's go kick some ass!" kinda gal, only trapped in a subservient role since she has boobs. Arwen always struck me more as a wilting flower. (I'm sure she did something brave and daring, but I can't remember what. And not movie-verse either, that should have been Glorfindel and it made me mad that they cut that out)

Could also be a part of the reason why I liked Sonja better in the third Underworld movie over her brief portrayal in the first. The first movie gave me the same wilting flower impression, whereas dark-haired Sonja didn't take shit from nobody.

I have too much time on my hands right now, clearly.

Didn't Arwen bring Frodo to her dad's place (I forget what it's called) when he was injured? I liked her wilting flower impression, it was more in tune with her father's wisdom. And okay, yes, the fact that she was played by Liv Tyler makes me like her more *blush* lol.

That was in the movie :( In the book, it was Glorfindel who brought Frodo to Rivendell. She seems, to my memory, even more useless in the book @@ I really could be remembering wrong, I read it yeaaaars ago.

Also, Liv Tyler is NOT that hot :P
