Novel: written, and validated at 50, 069 (snicker)

Book: deep-skimmed. I have ideas of how to add boning to my gown, added details, definitely need to reset the sleeve (and maybe make a long one. I love the look of long sleeves on that style of gown), DEFINITELY need a split bum, I am SO excited to make that (once I pull everything out and try it all on again to see how much oomph I need to add, oh shucks and darn). I'm glad I got it before I got too far on my cotton sacque, I think I need to abandon that idea. The print feels too Victorian Wallpaper. I only cut a back panel and one skirt side, so I guess it could be worse. Sorta fun part is thinking up what to do with it next!

Tomorrow: seeeeeeeeeeeeerious sleeve knitting happening. My KAL ends at midnight (tonight maybe? I'm not sure what midnight Dec 1 actually means, but her post also said "tomorrow is the last day" not "tonight is the last night") so I'm hopeful I can make it through those last 60-ish rows before then.

I think I might do the Christmas post? It feels super weird to ask for things from people I barely know. I'll get that up in the next day or two if I do decide to do it. I did start writing it up on paper so... eh? Maybe?

Upcoming plans: After I finish the sweater, start getting my place cleaned up. Having mostly everything out is a good time to consider what I want to do with it all. Books are going back under the table, Christmas decorations are coming out, fabric is going back in the closet, I should also catalog the other bin, and start thinking about what fabrics I will maybe want to destash. Also really want to think about what to do with five boxes of stuffed animals. Ideally I want to get my sewing desks useable by the machines too, but they need to stop collecting clutter in the meantime! I need to think about this.

Upcoming sewing plans: get something Edwardian together for tea! Starting some serious thoughts about the upcoming year and what I want to do.

Upcoming knitting plans: finish my Fade shawl, get other WIPs done, start using up the stash. I'll feel a lot better about buying more yarn when I don't have so much hanging around. But I'm becoming a fibre snob and I want wools and nice yarns and not the plethora of acrylics, but there's gotta be something I can do with acrylics. Luckily (?) I spend a loooot of time on Ravelry at work, I can do this long-term.
