Sacque fittings part 2
The short version: Mockup #3 is a huge success! Pics on Instagram
The long version: i realised a narrow shoulder adjustment isn't the issue, it only really takes out width in tje strap and not in the chest. So, a small bust adjustment. Ack! Ive read a lot about how to do one with a full bodice pattern but not a half-pattern. Guido supervised through the whole process of course.
Mockup #3 cut and sewn, breakfast eaten, get dressed up amd pinned in... it worked. Its 99% perfect. No more diggy-in armscyes, balanced neckline, an acceptable amount of looseness over the shoulder with no gapping. I had to get hoops and a petticoat on and gah i love it so much. I finally get to get started on the gown.
