My heart is full :3
On Saturday my brain-half married her fiance, and it was the most wonderful day. The weather was sunny and not too windy or hot, only a brief period of cloudiness and a few drops of rain. The wedding was short and sweet and beautiful, and my friends were married!! The photographers were wonderful, one of our Princess crew was able to come from Vancouver, the rest of the Princess crew was there, made some new friends in the extended group, danced my feet off and stayed until the DJ said "that's it, we're done!" (I was a bridesmaid, I had to stay until the end :3) I loved every minute.
Spending the day with my local crew filled my heart with so much joy. We danced, we talked, we laughed. One friend and I both had a lot of stuff going on the past year and haven't really caught up in several months, and she was like "but we're forever-friends, right?" Absolutely we are <3 Two of the three already-married couples' husbands insisted on taking me out on the dance floor for slower songs, which was lovely.
Sunday was a rest day. I napped a lot and watched a bunch of movies and basically only did whatever I felt like. I did a little sewing in the afternoon but did the bulk of it after 8 PM. My dress is now finished except for the hemming, and of course accessories.
Friday is the start of my vacation week in the mountains, and I'm both excited and also AAAAHHHHH at all the things I need to do before I go. Deep breaths, deep breaths. Time to make a plan.
