(does all of those things, just now, several hours after posting) gosh its like you've met me lol

The commission is really nearly done, it needs sleeves, buttonholes and buttons and to be reattached to the skirt, that's it. Once I get going it'll be done in no time.

As an addendum to this, my other roommate is stuck on the east coast for another night, so even though I wasn't going to see her tonight anyway, I have more mental space for crafting lol.
