Perhaps more than a little bit of that (whistles). I do feel bad for her daughter and son-in-law, bc they have to help her-slash-spend more time with her, and I get to now peace out of 95% of interactions with her, but for the vast majority, I do not care. The carpets should be replaced (they are 14+ years old), the main walls require a professional painter (the highest point of the ceiling was probably 18 feet), there's just so much work that needs to be done that I can't be assed to care about it.
