I’ve made “A Summer Stroll” twice, and it’s a lovely piece. I do advise mingling work on the tree at the top with other parts of the pattern because the tree is hundreds of stitches in about three colors that got really boring.
I really like scroll frames, and I love my floor stand now that I’m not in my 20’s and don’t like sitting curled up with the top of the frame against my knee any more. For less space the legs that connect to the ends of the scroll rollers so it can sit across you lap are decent. (I stitch with one hand above the fabric and one hand below so I hate having to hold the hoop or frame.)
