I spent most of today laid out with a migraine, the insidious kind that doesn't seem so bad, but I can't get rid of it no matter what I do. An obscene amount of ibuprofen and a nap at 8pm seemed to kill most of it. I did some laundry and cut out the pieces I needed for my French hood, and then spent hours working on that. Literally, I started just after 3pm, with short breaks for supper and whatever, and I only just finished sewing the facings on and such. I left the thread I needed to attach the pieces together downstairs, so that will have to wait, but so far, it looks really, really cool. I'll take pictures later :3 I don't even know what my next event will be, perhaps June Coronet, but I plan to work on the Elizabethan outfit pretty much any spare time, after my other commitments are done.(Read: costumes for Otafest/VGL in about a month)

We are also really excited that Simplicity just put out a Tudor costume pattern, and not only that, but the right underpinnings too :O Can't waaaait to pick those up XD
