Day 8 of Printer Purgatory

Update: Tech has received 4 of the outstanding 5 parts, and expects the last one early next week. We are starting to get antsy about our project, although the other part we had to outsource is also not expected until early next week so there isn't a lot that we can do.

I was out yesterday with a migraine. I went to work, was there for 45 minutes, and then went home. I was able to be upright after a long nap but I didn't have much brain power, my head still hurt for hours after, and there was no way on this earth that I was going to kit up to test out my latest idea for the jacket. I got some knitting done, but that's it. It was a whole lot of staring into the void, enjoying the joy about the inauguration on IG, and memes about Bernie Sanders' mittens.

I have to keep reminding myself that while, as a Canadian, American politics don't have a whole lot of impact on me, I live in the most conservative American-like province, esp since our premier has been destroying public health and public education ever since he took office. Including defunding health care in the middle of the pandemic. I'm sure he's going to have a shit fit over the Keystone pipeline agreement being cancelled, if he hasn't already. So I need to focus that political energy here, and work towards the future I want to see.

I hope that the migraine has gone away today!

The American politics thing is an interesting one, because while their politics often don't "directly" impact us, so often the attitudes or general direction influence our political climate.
