2022 Lookbook

I generally don't like "year in review" posts, but it's a lot easier to enjoy them without any accompanying text about... anything, really. In other words, forget Instagram shiny photos and captions about what an amaaazing year or how awwweeeesome it was (no I am nOT jealous that other people have friends and fun, what are you even talking about), here's a list. It's probably incomplete because I always forget stuff.

Knitting
Finished THREE sweaters (good job me!)
5 pairs of socks
A headband
A shawl
A hat (technically two, but I don't know yet if I'll keep the second one, the tail is still loose)
A kitten

And started 2 other shawls, a frog, and a sweater for the kitten to wear.

Reading

24 books, though a few of those were "I am never going to finish this, get off my list please" finishes. Mostly audio, and mostly fiction. (LMK if you wanna connect on Goodreads, and I'm considering joining Storygraph)

Sewing

Green silk Amalia Jacket
Ettie petticoat
Fantail skirt
Black Snail blouse
Black Snail Edwardian drawers (so floofy, much love!)
Bum pad
Thurlow shorts
Pietra pants (wide-leg)
Meriam trousers (plus three mock-ups)
Angelica gown
Victorian waistcoat (still needs buttons/holes)

And of course the sewing room itself. Yesterday I brought the paint inside, hopefully it wasn't ruined by the freeze. The primer might have been, the lid is no longer sealed.

Not a huge list, but I'm still taking things slow, at a pace I can sustain.
So many mock-ups...
