NGL this has been a rollercoaster week. Seasonal depression hit me hard in a short period of time on top of not sleeping. Aside from the trousers, I have not sewn at all this week. I spent my very limited energy on house chores (dishes, picking up all the garbages, changing the litter box) and feeding myself (honestly did not do great at this, but I tried). Last night I unpacked the box of all of my sewing notions that lived in the desk before the flood. Felt so good to have those back where they belonged! They're a mess of course, but that's for future me to figure out.

Weekend at last. Tonight former roomies and I are going to Crumbl for cookies. I have an optometrist appointment tomorrow morning and then I think I'll do some groceries while I'm out. Sunday I am going to my friend's house to do fabric-related things (and will probably raid her stash hehehe). Hoping to find some motivation to work on something in between. Looking forward to time spent with the kittens.

Have spent the week watching bag-making videos on YouTube. What I like most about this channel that I've focused on is that she goes through each step of the various patterns, uses fun fabrics, and each video is an hour or more (ie: getting my through my work day). I just want to sew all the bags! I have a few from just before covid printed and now cut, and I'm browsing for more. Mostly I'm thinking about how ideal each one would be for knitting purposes, but also potentially actual use.

Boo to seasonal depression and sleep deprivation, both of those are no good for brains. Good that have you things to do and friends/roomies since that helps distract the brain weasels.

Hurrah for weekend!

Seasonal depression sucks. And by this time of year, it's just all "FFS, how is it still winter?!" I hope that you had a good weekend and that you feel better soon.
