Jan. 4th, 2007 08:05 pmI was all productive and stuff today :3 I called Alberta Health to get my card replaced (its been missing for about 4 years), and they had my old address on file, so I couldn't do it through the automated system and waited on hold for nearly 20 minutes to have a three minute conversation with Jason. Address changed, and new card will be in the mail.
Blood Services called me today, and I will be going in next saturday to donate :D She asked me if this saturday would be good, but I said I was just finishing up my period. We then joked about how periods are like donating blood anyway, but no one really WANTS it. It was hilarious.

Done: back on diane-35 for acne treatment, Go me!
Also done: the two above points XD Blood donation is especially good, as I am O+ and they really want O+ right now. I should be good to donate in March for Corporate Challenge points again. I have been taking a multivitamin (women's formula) in hopes that it will boost my iron count enough so that i CAN donate successfully. My iron count is just fine for a normal day in the life of me, but usually too low to donate with.
Next on the list: replace ID, report lost card, call telus and give them hell about services I supposedly am not subscribed to.
Also on the list: get my hair cut. OMFG.
I got one emailed review from FF.net about my story, but of the 15 reviews there, it was the second-most-recent one made. Where are the other 14 reviews?
I decided a long time ago that I need some rocking horse shoes. They are, after all, the quintessential loli shoe. I blame Kamikaze Girls for this realisation. Now, what do I do? When should I buy them? Would I rather get the Bleach artbook instead? Put the money towards the purchase of Laila's Harang? (which I will have taken care of as soon as I get a statement from the Bonds people and can take out the moneh) Take it out and put it aside towards Sakuracon trip? Can I even afford both Sakuracon AND the doll con? I suppose I could bus down to the dollcon if needed but.... San Francisco is about what, another DAY worth of travel south of Vancouver? Gawd, two days on the bus....
I know I should really just save it and put it towards those future pleasures, which would ultimately be better than the smaller immediate ones (I'd get to spend days on end with my friends and my dearest wife. Hello! But I am a rather impatient person and I want things NOW). But... in a couple months, i ought to be making a bit better money? And I think I will look for a second job?
Also, Valentine's day is coming up >.> wtf should I do about that??
In other news, Casey is having a bad day :( hugs for Casey!
