Well I've been having tons of fun with these guys.
TelusTV is not available in this area, so I've had to return the box and remote to them. They will not be charging me for the rest of my contract, because they can't provide the service. Score on that at least.
Phone was hooked up last weekend, but the internet wasn't working. So I called, and the internet wasn't due to be hooked up until Monday. Fuck. He said to call if it wasn't working by 5 or 6. I got home at 10:30, and it wasn't working. I then spent 47 minutes and 22 seconds on the phone with them, routed through my now non-existent TV service to get to the internet help, and the guy (who was very nice, actually) tried what he could, but ultimately needed a service guy to come out here and fix it.
On Thursday.
He was supposed to come between 8 and 11; I leave for work just after 8, and Allan wasn't home until 11 (the modem was going into his room, since he has the only upstairs phone jack and the two hard-wired comps are up here too), so I made sure that Nicole was up before I left. I was standing on the corner, waiting to cross the street when I saw a Telus van turn onto the street, and then proceed down my street XD There were issues involving the phone box outside, which I suspected. Anyway, that's obviously done ;)
Wednesday night we decided to try the phone lines. We could call out, but we couldn't call in. I called them to see what was up, and the guy was very confused and scheduled a service repair, but couldn't get one out here until Saturday. But I tried it again Thursday morning, and it worked, so I called and canceled that.
Now I just need to call them and arrange for my cell's address to be changed, which I ought to do today....
