Aug. 18th, 2007 10:26 pmToys R Us was very successful today :D I found 27cm "hand board" skateboards on their canadian website, so I went there to see if they had some instead of paying shipping, and they did :D They also had 2 more of the small transformers I've been getting, the other half of the new set. Blackout and Starscream. Kinda amusing that the first set was 3 autobots and a decepticon, and the second set is 3 decepticons and 1 autobot XD I also picked up the Totally 80's edition of Trivial Pursuit, which was on sale for $10! Now I just need some people to play it with.
On my way home, there were two magpies and a small bird of some sort having what looked like a contest. The magpies appeared to be hassling the other bird, which perched on top of a telephone pole, and one of the magpies sat on the wire. The second came towards the first, and the other bird took off after it, all three flying over my head in the process. The other bird is a small bird of prey, about the same size of the magpies with a shorter tail and a spotted breast. It nearly got one of them in mid-air as they flew around one of the townhouse sets.
Then I had an amusing set of texts with a couple of my friends. Telus had Luna Sea's Shine available as a ringtone, which is now set as my text message since they don't seem to have the Imperial March anymore XD
Tomorrow, IKEA :D
Also, OpenOffice had the funniest suggestion for a word that is apparenly misspelled in my current fanfic attempt... ( Read more... )
