At our new years party, we watched the SkyOne production of Terry Pratchett's Hogfather. Most of us agreed, it was hard to get into at first, but by the time the first half was over (all 90 minutes of it), we could hardly wait to start part 2.

It stuck in my head, and I finally went and bought the book. I finished it the other day. It's the kind of book I only wish I could write. Why have I never read Terry Pratchett before?? (Pst, what other books should I check out?)

I decided that next year, I will not have Christmas celebrations. I will have Hogswatch :D I'm pondering ways to get robins to stick to the cards.
