Writer's Block: Close Encounters of the Celebrity Kind

The one that sticks out most in my mind is Lou Ferrigno. He was a guest at the Calgary comic expo. I was there with a friend, who was working the expo, and they needed someone to sit with him for a short time at his table. She asked me, and I said sure. I didn't know until then that he was largely deaf. It was an interesting experience. "Short time" wound up being 5 hours, but you don't get to sit with The Hulk every day, do you ;)

I AM COLD.

I cheated my way through part of my course this week, and now I have to create a job posting for the other part. BUT FIRST, I need some tea.

Jeeeez, I'm glad I had zero plans today beyond "stay inside", it's -31 with windchill (-18 without) and a fairly strong wind to push it. WTF, I want to go back to Vegas :(

I'm watching a marathon on TV and I'm going to finish my activity today and then I'm going to write me some fanfic. Possibly the schmoopy kind. I'm not sure yet. And somewhere in there, do my laundry.

ETA: changing the clocks always confuses me. It's nearly 5pm and its still SOOOO bright out. Getting up tomorrow is going to be fun.
