In other news, my brain just cannot wrap itself around the idea that people can be SO SRS about shipping. I mean, I should have known, I've been around fandom long enough to see Harmony, the Avatar series finale, and countless incarnations of Supernatural shipping wars, but this recent spat of (apparent) "you can only ship one pairing!" is just... bzuh?
