(no subject)

Ive decided to rework the habit shirt and try to make it usable. Now i just need to find which bag it ended up in. Yep, bag, cuz my sewing stuff exceeded storage space yonks ago and its all packed up from the bed bug inspection still.

Also on the docket this weekend: organize that damn closet and get this stuff put away! The living room radiator is sounding a little liquidy now and the last thing i want is people having to do work around this mess. Again.

Sewing plans for the month:
-rework habit shirt
-finish petticoat
-start habit

My wrist was better yesterday, enough that i could put a few rows into my project while i played D&D. It feels ok today. We'll see!

Habit shirt: win!

I pulled the offending pieces off this morning (so easy! Hand sewing paid off!) and then sewed them all back on after i got back from lunch with my sisters. I need to put in buttonholes and buttons and a waist tie, and add extensions to the front cuz its too short to tuck into my waistband. And then it will be really really done!

And now the funnest part... Some sexy sexy neck action! Do i want to make a stock or a cravat? Im leaning towards cravat because i would need a: more and nicer linen for a stock, and b: a stock buckle. Plus i can make a coloured cravat. I want both lol.

So happy that's off the naughty pile. Back to work!
