I've been on the "i'm going to do laundry today, no really" train all week. Monday and Tuesday both I was like "weeeeelllll i don't haaave to do it today..." so I didn't. Wednesday though, I was definitely going to do it on Wednesday!

J: what are you doing tonight?
M: nothing
Me: laundry
J: I got tickets to tonight's playoff game, wanna go?
Me: Laundry can wait!!!

So we went to the hockey game, which was SO MUCH FUN. I had some alcohol and had a great time, and it was even better because our team won. The series is tied 2-2 now, so there are at least two more games, the next one being tonight. Go sports team!

The whole week has been a bust for anything other than games and the occasional round of washing dishes and even worse, doomscrolling. I was talking to my therapist about why I was having such trouble deciding on a new project, and some of it is literally just too many choices and all of them "weigh" about the same so I end up choosing nothing. I'd like to get the table up on the risers this weekend and do some sewing. K and I are still determined to do Bruyere together and she's planning to work on that, so I will too. I have at least placed my darts correctly and shortened it better, plus attempted a narrow shoulder adjustment. It's weird that the pattern measures shorter than my shoulder and when placing the paper against me it SHOULD work, but it really just doesn't. We'll see if that helps.

Also laundry. I am out of clean socks (and for marianme, they are all ankle socks bc crew socks are dumb!)

Hahaha! I liked crew socks, but the new ankle socks were so soft. Maybe my old socks have just lost all their cush.

I remember rather a fuss over some male designer mumble years ago complaining about designing for women because they tended to have boobs which interfered with the drape of the fabric, see, and ruins his VISION, GARY.

There were some annoyed damn women responding. This dude was mad at women for daring to be 3-D and human, we're so selfish!

Anyway, that is why the shoulder doesn't work the way you want it to.

That seems very likely! My current batch of socks felt very soft when I first got them, which was, gosh 18 months ago now. They're less soft, but they're all Grogu themed so still very fun.

Believe me mr man, we'd be a lot happier trying to fit less 3-D shapes too! Good lord.
