totchipandaNao and I had a very interesting conversation on the bus home today. I'm starting to think she needs a journal O_o But that would only last for a little while... she's still "new", she's vocal now, but will likely drop off considerably down the road.
I keep meaning to post about this stuff that my wife and I talked about nearly a month ago, but I haven't quite managed to get up enough thoughts about it to do so.
And then I read a wank report about someone who found a box with drowned kittens in it stuffed in the toilet at her workplace last week, and the stray mama-cat out back looking for her missing kittens, and then the wankers who came in and started preaching about how EVERYONE should neuter their pets. I think it took about 10 minutes and watching Smudge sleep before it really sank in how awful that story is and how nearly similar-but-not-really situation happened to Smudge. She was FAR too young to be out on the street by herself at the beginning of November when Cait found her.
Smudge is not in the mood for teh snuggling today, but I snuggled her anyway.
