Last night, my teeth were throbbing and pulsing with pain SO BAD that I could not sleep. I had to get up, find the last three tablets of painkillers I was given when I busted my rib, and take one. Then I watched Chocolat until 2 am while waiting for the damn thing to kick in, and when it did, I was v. tired, slightly nauseous (which I expected; that's why I stopped taking them), and the pain had only come down to a tolerable level where I could actually sleep.

NOT IMPRESSED. NOT IMPRESSED AT ALL.

I bought Orajel today. I hope it helps the next time they decide to be little sons of bitches.

There's this liquid stuff that makes your gums go numb immediately. It's called Tanac. I've been using it for years for when I bite my cheek or tongue (which I do VERY often).

Benzacaine 10%
Bezalkonlum Chloride 0.12%

I don't know what that means, but thought it might help. Just one thing: when you first put it on, you start drooling really bad. I'm talking dog slobber globs of drool. Then you tingle, then nothing.

I bought extra-strength Orajel which has 20% Benzacaine, so that might actually work... I can't go through that again x_x
