bleh. sick. *pukes*

home from work today.... I woke up yesterday at 3 am and felt progressively worse until sheree sent me home at 2:30. I lay on the couch all afternoon/evening, tried to eat some crackers at 7:30 but threw them up, went to bed at 11 after napping through the end of american idol (oops) and do feel better today... Sheree asked me if i wanted to take today off yesterday, and i said can i please?? I do feel better today, but still not fab. But if this continues, i should be ready to go back to work tomorrow and get my rsp stuff in.

Victorian pattens: IN!! YES!!!!! thank goodness that customs takes credit >.> much happy squeeing. Wondering if i can get material for these soon....

Car: cleaned off. OMG LOL there was about 4" of snow piled on it from the last two days. (hold your hand up sideways - that much snow!) two police officers walked by and I think they looked at me? Then these two guys came down the alley and the officers started talking to them. Not sure what about. My hearing is iffy at the best of times, its worse with whatever it is I have right now.

Cat: off to the vet when Dad gets home :( She's sleeping in the sink right now, which she knows she is Not Allowed to do, so ergo, something is very wrong. Her eye was VERY weepy and mucousy last week, which has become hard and crusty and she can't open it very far, she seems to have some dark fur around her mouth, her breath stinks way worse than a cat's should when she opens her mouth, and today I caught her drooling - also not normal. The vet's didn't have any evening appointments, just afternoon. Dad wondered if i could get her there but I really doubted it (have no money for her bus fare, couldn't find the cash dad had handy, and I'm still not feeling great and she is heavy), so he managed the afternoon off so we can take her in.

My kitty is in at the vet over night :( She lost 2lbs or so from her last visit, and when she only weighs 12lbs to start with, thats huge. She's dehydrated too, so they're going to have her on fluids. And her teeth are apparently quite bad, which could be indicative of a kidney problem, so they're doing bloodwork too.

the likely verdict? $$$$$$$$$$$$


In other news, I am quite excited for the next couple months :3 My sister and I are going to have look at a larger place for ourselves 'cause we are all but guaranteed a third body X3 I'll be a little sad to leave here though. I hate the quality of my neighbourhood, but the new caretaker is rather nice. He just stopped in to pick up our rent checks and the first thing he said is "hi gorgeous" XD He might even get us a different fridge (zomg! I've only tried to get it done since we moved in)

I feel pretty tired now, and it's back to work tomorrow. Off to bed!
