Mar. 6th, 2006 06:07 pmhokay so.... I decided today that Nuriko was to be put to sleep. It happened around 5:30. It still doesn't seem real.
Her numbers came from 88 to 32, which still wasn't great, and she was refusing to eat, spitting out the food they would put on her tongue. The vet was not optimistic about her future, as she would have to be on agressive fluids and in the hospital most of the time, and it wouldn't be long before she'd have to be put down anyway, if only to keep her from suffering a long death.
hardest decision. EVAR.
There is no emoticon to describe the depth of my sorrow right now.
