Jan. 18th, 2009 11:03 amYesterday was Ryan's birthday, so we embarrassed the snot out of him, went ice skating, had dinner and went to karaoke :D Epic fun night.
We went to the "new" karaoke place, and while I like the other place for a couple reasons (better music on some songs, others have the actual videos playing in the background instead of random things like racing cars, hula dancing, and parrots riding bicycles) the new place is WAY MORE FUN :D They have comfy couches, disco balls, and more importantly, not only songs that Uncle Wes can sing, BUT THEY HAVE RIYUU* AND CASSIS. I butchered 'em both, but man on man, was I a happy monkey.
Shilo, you must come visit, for there is also a large selection of Luna Sea, a couple Shazna, Blurry Eyes, and Penicillin. HAPPY KARAOKE FUN TIEMZ.
* I've always called Riyuu, but every other site I've seen since the album came out has called it Wake. Since I have never heard of confirmation from the band one way or another, and the karaoke book listed it in the R's, I'm going to keep calling it Riyuu.
