(no subject)

A part of me thinks of all the things I can do once I escape the mall's gravity at the end of my shift. Last weekend before Christmas, I am gonna want out of here asap! But most of the things I think of involve going to stores and fighting for parking and possibly crowds of people. Forget it. I think I'll just hit up the liquor store next door to my apartment for the things I want to bake with and call it a day. I have a date with a book and possibly Supernatural.

Cupcakes are baking :3 I decided to hit up the stores on the way home. I found parking OK, and went to the grocery store and then liquor store next door lol. Dishes, pizza, cupcakes mixed and baked... next up, filling and icing them! but they have to cool for a good long while, so I have plenty of time to do something else while they do so :) I guess I also need to think about a proper dinner too.

I think I'll be able to finish Supernatural tonight too. I've got 4 or 5 eps left.

We have the Downton Abbey Christmas Album at work which is both kind of awful and kind of awesome. There's 40 or so tracks, and a reading of Twas the Night Before Christmas by Carson. It's fun hehehee.

Cleaning?

Got struck with the urge to tidy today. That happens so rarely, I need to go with it when it does! One of the bookcases in the living room had a "junk" shelf where things were collecting randomly. I pulled everything off and moved it up so I could put the game boxes away properly, and then put the books away the way they are meant to, and repurposed some of the boxes I had been using for sewing things before I got my desk back to organize. Much better! It looks so much neater, though it could definitely use some more work! I also repurposed some other boxes for patterns-by-era. The boxes themselves don't have a home yet, so they are on the floor atm. Eventually I may get the rest of the house under control lol.

Cupcakes are done and very boozy! I put more whiskey in the filling than was called for, and whooooo you can taste it! They're pretty yummy though. Now to foist them off on people! I can only eat so many lol.
