(no subject)

Been waffling on what I want to work on today. The flannel drawers I've been wanting to make since 2 years ago? (Or would the flannel be better used as an under-petticoat?) The blue floral Victorian dress I won't be able to wear until spring/summer anyway? Other undergarments of various types? Enquiring minds want to know (and make a decision!) I definitely want to do something I will see progress on PDQ though, I don't want to do any mock-ups today. I've had to put off sewing for so long, I want to make something, right NOW! :D

First, I should finish my coffee.

By "finish my coffee" I apparently meant "put it on the floor and kick it over and spill most of it" grrr. I can only drink one cup a day, and argh the carpet! I sopped up what I could, and the rest, eh. Whenever I move out of here, I have to get the carpet professionally cleaned anyway since I have a cat and it's in my lease that I do so.

I haven't sewn anything yet. I decided to pull out the blue floral, and then wanted to see what was in a bag behind the yarn bin, and I ended up tidying and moving things around instead lol. The blue floral hasn't been washed yet, I'm pretty sure, so I should do that before I cut it. I have a couple metres of blue twill that I think I have enough for a narrow skirt, but I don't want to do a skirt today, even though they are redonk easy. I found the lining for my waistcoat and I think I had put it aside because I'm not sure how to finish the back neck? Not really sure what was going through my brain then.

Then I was hungry so I made lunch. Dad should be back from Calgary soon, so we'll see if we do the key exchange today or not, yet. The only other thing I really want to do today is vacuum the air purifier, it was giving me the "hey time to clean the filter!" light last week.
