(no subject)

Had to give up sewing kinda early tonight. The hand i hold the fabric with is cramping up. I need a sewing bird/third hand lol.

Redingote: i took a break on it all week but the fire has been lit! Tonight i attached the fronts and front linings, and started sewing down the front hem on the skirt, as per the museum notes. One side is done. Ish. I left the bottom bit loose cuz its not ready to be hemmed yet. So tomorrow i will sew down the other side and start pleating. I will need to cut into the back. Eek!

Going to do laundry tomorrow too, so i will take my stays over to set grommets in the back. Must remember to set them the right way up!
