Jul. 5th, 2018 10:04 pmMy partner is hosting a cosplay on Saturday and voluntold me to join in. I spent the first part of tjis evening pulling out everything i wanted to take with. It was a LOT more than i expected it would be D: i have a small suitcase, a tote, a huge IKEA tote, and probably at least my big suitcase too. I also need to bring a dummy and my rack, so this is going to be a very fun expedition Saturday mornjng.
After that i decided to pull out a cap pattern and some broadcloth and just see how long it wpuld take. One hour was cutting, machine roll hemming 4/6 pieces,and matching up one side. As much as i hate thw idea of machinjng tje caps, my hands seriously cant take the strain right now. Im running out of time.
My yarny friend from work got back from her vacation today. She brought me back a yarn swift and winder <3 the winder needed some TLC (it was veeeeeery stiff to wind) but otherwise it was perfect. I wound up a skein for a sweater i intend to start soon. Eeee! My yarn life is so much easier now! I used to allow an hour to wind a skein by hand and now its like 10 mins!
