Sparkleball Saga: Pink, Blue, Orange and Green2 have joined the game! Miraculously, all four of these PLUS Green1 have remained out all weekend. Blue was captured immediately upon being dumped on the floor and taken to the tub.

I was not feeling well all weekend. It was akin to the food poisoning I had in March, though not to the point of expellation. My tummy was cramping and I was feeling Very Bad (tm). I chose not to go to the event I had planned, nor to see my gramma as I also have some kind of bug lingering in my face (ears are itchy and cough is a little drier than usual, doesn't feel like allergies) and the last thing anyone needs is me spreading germs.

M and I stopped at Popeye's on Friday evening and aside from sauce, ate the exact same thing. She was feeling fine, so whatever it was is unique to me. I was finally able to book* the blood test for gluten sensitivity, and then it's leaving my life!

*Could have done this at the end of October, so I've only extended it by a couple weeks, but also because there's shenanigans with lab testing at the provincial level as dictated by our ridiculous government** and the site was down all weekend.

**A thing that was actually said by one of their ministers, when asked about solving the housing crisis: "first of all, get rid of the carbon tax". WHAT THE FUCK DOES A CARBON TAX*** HAVE TO DO WITH A HOUSING CRISIS.

***The previous gov't instated their own carbon tax, and when the current regime removed it, they had to take part in Canada's carbon tax, which was much higher. Idiots, the lot of them.

But yes, wheat products consumed last week:
Spaghetti
Mary Browns chicken sandwich
Subway footlong (I planned to eat only half, but it was so yummy that it was consuuuuuumed)
Chinese fried noodles
English muffin
Whatever breading is on Popeye's tenders and onion rings

Woke up at 2am Saturday morning feeling very unhappy in the tummy region, and it's only improved, not fully gone. I can do this. I can make it. Once the test is done, I will at least have provided the baseline and then can go about happily or unhappily making my life simpler.

Sunday I cleared out two boxes - TWO!!! - and left them for the kittens to play in. I thought in the afternoon that I might finally cut out the petticoat, but no. Right when I would have gotten up to do it, both kittens sat on me and napped for a good hour. Welp, there went all of my motivation, thanks babies.

National chain store was having an online sale, which I shopped sort of. Some fabrics were "buy 1m get 2m free" but the ones I was most interested in (wool suitings, of which there were 3 boring colours) had 1 or 2m left and could not be added to carts. Just let me put it in my cart!! 2m is enough for pants!! Sheesh. SO I picked out a couple fun fabrics for shirts, but when I went to see what shipping would cost, I had to log in. I'm sure I have a log in, but I could not be assed to reset it. Emptied the cart and carried on.

Did make a dish I've been wanting to try for weeks and oh maaaaan it was gooooood. I used a pre-spiced tofu, and on the first day I just heated it up plain, the second day I starched and fried it, which was much better. Definitely double the dressing, I ended up using 2x as recommended thanks to some comments lamenting their choice not to follow other comments recommending that lol.

"Novel" writing was pretty much non-existent. The kittens helped too much.

On Saturday night some asshole knocked on my window >:C It was either someone trying to find someone else and got the wrong house, or someone who thought it would be funny to knock on someone's window at midnight. Renting for 22 years and never had someone do that, not even when my sister's boyfriend had an AC unit in the window and a box blocking the empty space above it. What the fuck.
