Jan. 12th, 2024 12:11 pmSparkleball update: 1 green one is the last one standing. (Rolling?) I have checked under the furniture, which of course revealed none, so really the only place left to look is under the stove.
Vacuumed last night after seeing Sophie covered in dust, which took three empties of the very small canister. Then I reached in to remove the filter cover because it had things plastered to it, and noticed that the filter itself was FILTHY! So I spent some time scraping and tapping, and then rinsed both. Next vacuum should go much better.
Weather is in the deep freeze, -35 and whatnot. We had a staff party planned this evening but with one person sick and it being so extremely cold, we opted to reschedule. I drove today, expecting to have to go to the party, and by some miracle Susan actually started (she was very, very unhappy about it). I've parked in an underground heated garage. Now with the party cancelled, a part of me is thinking that i wasted the effort today, but I need to go out anyway, I am nearly out of cat food, and I wanted to get a new car battery lol. The one I have is original to purchase 9 and a bit years ago, and it was already big mad about the cold 2 years ago. I can get some errands done, very quick ones in case it doesn't start again. (Many hours later) Looks like I can get everything I super need (cat food, car battery) in one place. Woohoo!
