Having never had a crown before, I had no idea what to expect! There was a cavity that needed filling too, so it took some time. They had me booked until 3:40 and I was already half done at 2:40, so it was looking good. I had a massive plastic thing in my mouth while they worked, and my head was tipped back so all my sinus material wasn't draining into my throat quite as it should and I made them stop a couple times so I didn't choke on it. Plastic temporary is in place, permanent one is scheduled for next Monday and then I can say farewell to a big chunk of money (sob)
Met my sibling at the mall for a movie after. We got to see a matinee in the middle of the week, which we never get to do! We saw Monkey Man, starring directed and written by Dev Patel and it was... a movie. In reading the IMDB page, he said it was an homage to how action movies used to be, now they are all special effects etc, when they used to be much more about the *action* and less about the explosions. I suspect my sibling wanted to see it also because there was a section about transgender folx, and they are also trans, because it was... a movie alright. They liked it though, and that's what matters most to me.
After, I picked up some soaps (since I had a mall-specific gift card I wanted to use) and I got five at their current deal, but i wonder if I should have gone whole hog with the 7-for-$ deal and picked up two of the Bridgerton scents too. Alas. Then I VERY BRAVELY walked out without going to any other store, least of all the book store, and went home where I played video games and watched Netflix until I went to bed. The end.
Today I want to... do some adulting (cat box and dishes), potentially try the stays on again (with shift and taking photos), and cut some more bags! Maybe even sew them!
