May. 8th, 2024 09:49 amI am so tired. I am living that post about how I've had 8 hours of sleep but not all once or even on the same day. Woke up at 4 am thanks to a hot flash, and the night before I was asleep from 11-12:30 and then 3:30-6. Plus I might be coming down with my boss' cold. SO TIRED. Have to do laundry tonight though, I am literally on my only clean pair of undies lol.
Last night I went to my friends' house, the ones who adopted Chihiro. I was there over the course of bedtime for their smol human (he will be 2 in July) and BB was very concerned that I would be participating in bedtime stories. So I squished onto the couch with them, where he confidently handed me a book, and what could I do but read him a story? It was absolutely precious. Afterwards we played a couple of games and that was that. It was lovely :)
Tonight, besides laundry, I will do whatever else my brain feels capable of. Maybe that's handsewing, maybe that's video games. We shall see.
