Movie reviews in brief:

Forbidden Kingdom: super fun! The Monkey King was teh awesome, I bet Jet Li had fun with that role. Many lols to be had.

The Other Bolelyn Girl: sad :( I cried. Beautiful costumes!

Iron Man: Fsking awesome! All I knew about it was... well... Iron Man! Yay! Very entertaining :D

Speed Racer: Pretty eyecandy in the form of pretty asian boys (one made a pretty pretty princess, too!) and pretty pretty cars!! I don't know how anyone could take it seriously, it's one of the hokiest animes ever made, so I walked in there expecting eyecandy and a whole lot of cheese and that's what I got ;D I'm also half in love with Benno Fürmann... The eyes, the accent *swoons*

I also saw approximately 20 trailers before these movies in total, and I only saw the same ones about twice. Those being, the new Hulk, and Kung Fu Panda. Trailer highlights included Indiana Jones and The Dark Knight. My brother and I nearly forgot we were there to see Iron Man while Christian Bale was lurking 50ft tall *swoons again*

Aw man, I want to see those two movies! Especially Speed Racer, just because it looks like such a trippy film!

Speed Racer was great! It's total fluff, the perfect way to spend 2 hours at the theatre on a Sunday afternoon :D

Ohhh, I can't wait! I never watched the series when I was a kid, but the movie looks pretty awesome. Benn saw it with Janzi and they both recommended it too!

All you ever need to know about Speed Racer can be gleaned from those 5-10 seconds on Robot Chicken XD (the ep with that crazy race) At one point, it's like a kung-fu movie, but with cars! So awesome :D

Okay, now I have to see Forbidden Kingdom. I wanted to see it when it came out but just got sidetracked, and then Ironman came and I saw that, and I agree awesome!

I am so anxious to see The Dark Knight! I've seen the preview maybe 3 times..."You're a freak...like me!" :D

I saw two trailers on TV in the last 2 hours! :D :D :D SOOOOOO EXCITED!! If it's not the best movie I see all summer, I don't know what will be! (it has big shoes to fill! Transformers last year kicked my ass six ways to Sunday XD)
