EE! I almost forgot! When I got back from the movies on Tuesday, I must have JUST missed my dad calling, 'cause when Debbie got in around 10, there was a message from Dad telling me to call him. I called him back right away, or it would have had to wait until the next day. Anyway, it basically boiled down to, after playing around with my brother's new laptop, he and my sister decided to replace their laptops. They would like to offer me one of theirs :D w00t!

Amber's had a couple problems; the card bus (?) didn't work, and the cd drive was flaky. Dad's was still good, as I knew (I had it as of 7 months ago, for Nano shenanigans, of course :D) and he'd just put some new memory into it. Since I had been giving some thought to offering to purchase his, I chose his :D So, he said, how much do you expect this to put you out?
