totchipanda: (Can I eat him?)

One thing I forgot to mention entirely was a few weeks ago (the Wednesday after I sprained my back, to be exact), I got caught up with one of my old friends from high school :3 It was totally awesome, we had a great evening. It was like we'd never been apart since graduating in 1998. I must make the effort to go visit some time so I can meet her husband and daughter.

But somewhat incidental to this particular evening, we went to see Underworld: Rise of the Lycans. I was feeling mediocre on seeing it; the first movie was never that interesting to me, and I never did see the second one, but the trailers looked interesting enough. (Insert long rant about my long-time love affair with vampires, my complete dis-interest in werewolves, I did find the idea of werewolves as daytime vampire guardians interesting, I thought Lucian was BOOOO THE BAD GUY until shown otherwise, blah blah blah.)

Well. I found the movie surprisingly good. So much so, that I saw it again last week, am going to see it again this week, and find myself pondering if I have the time/inclination/drive to join a prompt community specifically so I can write fic.

PS: Lucian/Michael Sheen is smokin and I think Sonja/Rhona is way better than Selene/Kate.

ORLY?

Maybe I shall have to watch it then. I'm in the same place as you with the first two movies. ^^

YA RLY.

I honestly LOVE the third movie. It's quickly going to become one of my "most watched movies", since the only reason I'm not going to go see it RIGHT NOW is because I'm going in 2 days XD
