Alright, ladies. Sakuracon this year? Y/N?

We would like to go this year. I need to start making plans now, especially since I have two very tall boys to sew for. I have two costumes for myself to make before Otafest, and there was some extremely pre-lim planning to roadtrip out to Vancouver this year (as in, "yes, we'd like to go to Vancouver") Although anything I make in the next four months could do me for my entire con circuit this year, at least.

Oh yeaaaah, I was going to ask you to make me a female Irvine (from FF8, yay!) outfit after last year's con.... I will not be cruel and beg for one now. ^^;

On the other hand, spending lots of money seems like a bad plan, when I *may* have to go out to Floriduh to get my sister's stuff later this year, and then there's the whole, OMG, wouldn't it be FAN-FUCKING-TASTIC to go to Japan this fall, and that needs saving up for....hmmm....

Yeeeeeaaaah I'm kinda sitting that fence too, with a considerable portion sitting on the Seattle side. Sakuracon shouldn't put me out more than $500 for total trip cost (not including food and whatever almost-assuredly-minimal spending I'd do there). I'm doing my absolute best not to touch too much of my savings bonds; there's $500 in there now, and I put away $100/month, so it'll be another $800 before September... Well, I can work out the numbers later. If you decide not to go this year, I totally, totally understand, even if I'll miss you terribly <3 Just means the fat-ass hug I owe you will be SUPER CHARGED by September.
