Apr. 16th, 2006 10:14 pmI am teh bored o-o; Waiting to hear from missing roomie who was supposed to be home saturday. Have nothing to do but write, and no inspiration on that. Ashura!pr0n has left me. (<3 for ashura has not XD)
My tamagotchi had a baby. She grew up into a blob with legs today :D I named her Shuki. I think I had intended to call her Shura, but i forgot...
My gramma had a book about the history of some of her family that she showed me today :D I knew a fair bit about my grampa's family, but not much about gramma's. Her mom and dad (and her mom's first husband) came from a section of Russia that was at one time or another Russian, Polish, or Ukranian, and I believe the family was actually German and leased their land from a Russian landlord. (It is now part of the Ukraine again). MOst of them immigrated to Canada in 1902, settling in the hay lakes area southeast of Edmonton. Her mom was married at 18, had 6 children, and her husband died in 1919. She remarried a year later and had 5 more kids, including my gramma! Somewhat ironically, one of the extended cousins in there was in the newspaper in 2000 when he died at like, age 41 from a heart attack after dental surgery. The other "claim to fame" was that my dad's cousin had Christopher Reeve come and ride her horses before he broke his back. w00t.
