Every time I think about how long it's been since I last made a post, I think, I need to update. And then... it just doesn't happen. So the short version:

Accepted the position at work. Had to quit my other job to do so. Am pretty happy so far.

Otafest + my birthday was VERY fun. Ryan totally got me with an eReader hidden inside a Bible. Epic impromptu Rock Band party with zoi_no_miko, a weekend with my wifey and nephew, roadtrippin' through rural Alberta, and cranking The Lonely Island songs through popular streets in Calgary while Mario drove = EPPPIIIICCCCCC funtimes!

Sad that my brain-half is now 7 hours away ;____;

Made beer cheese soup and corn chowder today cuz it's like, a handful of degrees above freezing and I had the day off. Both were delicious, especially the beer cheese soup *,* Thanks for the input, maeveth :3

How in the name of fuck is it so cold there?? It's 80F today down here and everyone's in shorts.

There's probably fancy names for a pressure system moving over us, cuz it seriously snowed last night in some places, but my Official Answer is "it's Canada" XD It's not normal, but it has been known to snow in July and August, at least in my neck of the woods.

IT'S SO DELICIOUS I CAN HARDLY BELIEVE IT. I got an India Pale Ale (as I texted hehehe), and even as beer itself goes, it's quite tasty. The brand also makes an amber ale, I wonder how that would taste *,*
