I find myself, at last, with more than one day to myself. I have a glorious THREE DAY WEEKEND HOLY CRAP ON A STICK. And then I work 1 day, and have 2 more days off. It's been MONTHS since I had days off like this!

Tomorrow I have plans to go to the zoo (red pandas!! Elephant!! Birds of prey! Wolves! EEEEEEE!!!) and then dinner, which is probably a good thing, because if I were to go straight to the basement, I think I would just wander back and forth from project to project and not focus on any one thing. I can take some time to plan what I want to tackle.

I still really want to get my Elizabethan wardrobe going, even though I have almost no opportunity to wear it. Whatever; a girl needs a fancy dress or three in her closet, right? This means that I absolutely must work out a corset that fits me. I need a corset to be able to fit ALL of the garments that come on top of it. After that, a farthingale. Then I can start on the other pieces. Far-future projects: a high-necked smock with poofy sleeves.

Finish the Regency gown, which I'm starting to think is the wrong size. Le sigh. I decided that I just cannot go to that forum unless I absolutely need to, as the sheer amount of "mommies! religion! YAAAY!!!" really gets me. (This is probably totally petty of me, but it annoys me, and I can't really help that. Hello, ladies, you ARE more than the fruit of your loins. Like the mall today had a "welcome wagon" event for new moms, and all I could think was that this is what Mother's Day is for? /tangent)

If the Regency gown is the wrong size, then I need to look at the stays again, too, as I'm not convinced I made the right size. I wear a C-cup bra normally, but most patterns seem to think I'm more in the A- or B-cup range. I don't get it. Ah well.

I have to finish the fluffy lolita skirt still, as well as the Victorian petticoat. Both should provide excellent opportunities to use my new ruffler foot :D

Bits and pieces of Ashura's outfit. I never finished the overrobe, and I need a belt, and a shitload of jewelry.

JOE'S OUTFIT!!

New projects... I have lots. At the top of my mind are an Elizabethan doublet (DO. WANT.) and a Victorian outfit for the train trip. Then I have all my costumes for Reno to make (and plan, first o-o) and.. there's really too much to take in at the moment.
