A Year of Reading
Dec. 27th, 2011 09:48 pmAmong the other things I want to do next year, I want to read more. One of my friends is doing a 100-books-in-a-year challenge, which as someone on Facebook pointed out is a book every 3.66 days. I don't think I can read that much; I don't think I ever did even when I was reading a lot D: I thought maybe I'll scale it back to 50, and I've finally settled on 30. That's one book every 12 days. I think I can manage that. (Well, I guess a little more than 12 days. There's a whole month out of the year when I write the book I read ;) )
So, I need suggestions for reading material. I can probably come up with roughly half of the list without resorting to some of the books I got in the summer that seriously got on my nerves. Also, I need more friends on Goodreads ;)
I will definitely need to read The Hobbit, and I'm definitely going to read it sooner rather than later so that it's not fresh in my mind when the movie comes out.
