Sweet baby Jesus. Well it's nice to know that if I ever become logged out of LJ again, like I did today, I will know IMMEDIATELY. I don't use LJ as much as I used to even though I still check my flist at least once a day, partly for entries from those who do, and partly for the RSS feeds I keep, but holy brass monkeys, the new "feed" is AWFUL. I thought it was just the iOS app (and apparently also the Android one?) since I never visit the host page, just my journal page. It is seriously, seriously hideous. I know so many people have jumped ship over the years for various changes, and a lot of them didn't seem so bad, and now that this one has come along... it's probably the most tempted I've been to follow suit ._. I seriously can't get over how ugly it is. (And really, LJ, why is the homepage newsfeed on the app only Russian entries? This may come as a surprise to you, but I don't read or speak Russian. Le gasp!) I really feel like my time on LJ has come to a peak and I'm standing on the edge of a precipice. Where do I got from here? Keep on with this mountain and see what happens, or go climb a new one?
