I was on staycation this week, and I had grand plans. Cleaning after ignoring the house during nano, get my Christmas decorations out of the closet, sew a bunch of stuff...
I'm sure you saw where this was going as soon as I said "grand". Almost as soon as I finished my novel, my tummy started to rebel, and I ended up spending the first two days sick as a dog, watching Netflix on the couch. I worked last night and they were supposed to clear the parking lot today, so it was perfect timing to collect up all of my laundry and go visit Nicole for the night. But when I got home, the lot wasn't cleared and has been moved to tomorrow. I was going to go visit my grandparents tomorrow but thought ahh, maybe not, I work at 6 and I want to avoid as much rush hour traffic as possible. But now that I have to be out of the parking lot for a few hours, starting no later than 8am... I guess I'll go anyway? I want to be back in the city by 3pm, so I can go out for the morning and come back after lunch. That should be enough time.
I wouldn't have thought "vacation at home" could be so... busy o-o.
