Car goes in for tire replacement tomorrow. I had some kind of tire insurance as part of my purchase which is great, because the tire ($215 for one tire) is covered. But the rim is not, and it's a loooooooooooooot of money. Like, a lot. A lot a lot. They were a bit concerned that I'd wrecked the suspension (like what happened with Dad's van a couple years back when something similar happened) but it's apparently fine, and I'll just need a wheel alignment. There goes a small fortune that my $8 meal cost me. Le sigh.

Decided that drafting patterns was boring, so that's on hold for now. I have to focus on my upcoming cons.
