totchipandaToday I ran some errands after work. I needed to pick up some fabric for a pattern I was working with, so I got it for a steal!! It was basically a remnant so I got it for half-price, and it was only $5 a metre to start with. $3.41 for my project? YES PLEASE! Then when I got home, I sewed it up really fast, so I can wear it tomorrow and get pictures of it :D I'm really excited. I'll share pictures when I'm allowed.
Having some GRRR thoughts regarding getting my stash cleared out. Sure, I can transform a lot of it into garments but then... what do I do with the garments? I hate these thoughts, it really shouldn't matter! I want to sew, and wear what I sew, and that's all I should care about. I do have some plans for some of it, like the blue dots (I want to recreate a dress I own that doesn't fit and then get rid of that one), and I'm also trying to think of things I can make that I will wear right now. I definitely want to get into more modern sewing for myself. It's a slow process.
Any ideas what I can make with silk noil?
