June 16 Edmonton meet

redrosewhite came up from Calgary with Klaus (and partly to see me, I think, I was having a rotten week), netness was here all the way from Austrailia!! with her DOD Mir, Xoe, who is the cutest thing ever!! I wanted to take her home XD Klauschen came in from St Albert and though her doll is only on the third week of waiting, it was so nice to see her too :D
So all we had was three DODs ^^; And had the fourth been there, he was DOD too, a Yen, I believe. All we really did was sit in the food court for two hours, took a lot of photos (one of which I deleted by accident! thankfully it was only of Mia), traded wigs all around and did some body comparisons of the two girls. I think it came about because I complained about the Ajumapama MSD-sized wig not fitting very well (it's rather loose). I didn't know that netness was the AU agent XD But she didn't have any problems with the fit at all, and then we figured that it was probably because Bee-A has a smaller head. And she does! It's noticeably smaller than Mir's, as well as the ears are shaped differently. And the body differences.... I sanded down Mia's nipples last weekend as the sheer pointyness of them bothered me. But the standard girl body (which is NOT the one they sell seperately on the site) is SO flat-chested... the picture didn't turn out too well; I don't know if its because of the lighting or the fact that Mia is blushed and Xoe isn't ^^;
But that was fun~ Xoe wore Klaus' wig and Mia's yukata over her own clothes for a long while; Klaus wore Xoe's Leeke wig for the majority of the evening and her pimpin hat got passed around a lot..
Finished off the night by going to look at the puppies in the petstore, where one of the daschounds pooped, and the other started to eat it. I mentioned having had a cockatiel as a pet, forgetting that they are native to Austrailia and probably as common as our crows XD netness said something to the effect of "why would you want one as a pet, theyre so NOISY!!"
The last photograph was taken at the scary brass statue of a man eating a hamburger in the food court. I think we scared a few patrons, though one young girl came up to me to tell me that she liked my doll <3
Mia in the Leeke wig. Not sure on the style#, but carrot is the colour ^^; It seems to be sized about the same as Ajumapama. When I get around to buying Leeke wigs, I'll try the sweet size as well as the MSD :3

Klaus puts the moves on Xoe... (who is, reportedly, fond of attention. VERY fond of attention. *WINK*)
Then for some reason, just before the scary brass statue picture, we decided to recreate a scene from Dracula. Klaus was quite happy. (Mia was not-so-happy with him by the end of the night, but that didn't stop her from uh... asserting her territory?)
It was just so much fun and SO NICE to hang out with other doll owners for a few hours ;___; I so need to start contacting the others so we can do this a lot more ;D (since two of them weren't from around here, and the third, when she gets her doll, is technically in another city even though we might as well have annexed St Albert by now XD)
