I'm hoping this little scratch in my throat is really nothing. At least two people in my immediate area came to work this week with terrible-sounding coughs even though they were "better". Happily drinking honey lemon tea, but still really tired. Not sure if the tired is just cuz I got home so late last night and woke up at 3am.
Plans for tomorrow:
Kidding on those last two [/nerd]. But for real, I have a whole bag of things to sell, a few more things that need a little work before they too can go up, and a bunch of small things, figures and the like, for the same. Until I can figure out my payroll deduction savings thingy, I need to get proactive about at least having enough money to put on my credit card bill.
I started working on a Regency gown for the ball at the end of February. I cut the wrong linen for my lining, and I'm trying to decide how much I care. The right side has a light gilding of colour on it. It won't be visible and I can sew it with the gilding faced to the interior. Then I waffled on the front bodice treatment, and whether I wanted to hand sew it or not. Then I decided that yes I did, but the only silk thread I have is grey, so I did a small test, and it's TOTALLY OBVIOUS, so I want to get silk thread, except I distinctly remember Fabricland only had a small selection of colours and they may not have the right shade of red for this fabric, so should I just start sewing with poly and get it over with?
Sigh. SAD, you make decision-making EVEN HARDER than it normally would be. Go away.
There's other plans too... make enough lunch/dinner for leftovers to take to work, maybe knit a little, clean the cat box, vacuum, take some things for donation out to the car? That sounds more ambitious than I'll have energy for, at least for now.
Plans for tomorrow:
- Get photos of my last few makes of 2017 so I can get the review post up.
- Actually get the post up
- Starting getting things together for sale
- Photograph those items
- List them
- ?
- Profit!
