Guido went to the vet today. Hes generally healthy in terms of his bowels, temperature, eyes, teeth, etc, but over the last 18 months hes dropped almost 5 lbs. So they are running a panel of blood and will call me on Monday.

Travel next year is looking farther away. But I've been looking at my copies of Fashions of the Gilded Age these past few days and i got to thinking about what a single-era wardrobe for CoCo would look like and it was a lot of fun lol. I would def need multiple chemises and other unders, but all that is boring. Let's talk the fun stuff!

Thursday night: evening dress
Friday day: cotton morning/day dress
Friday evening: different evening dress, possibly a polonaise
Saturday day: different day dress
Saturday night: ball gown
Sunday day: tea gown

And all the possibilities for wrappers and mantilla etc etc! I would plan skirts to be reusable between at least 2 outfits accessories to work between multiple outfits, hair pieces, jewelry... how fun!

What a good idea. A single era wardrobe would be mean less packing of multiple corsets/stays, shoes, etc.

*hugs* Yes, I hope that they're able to diagnose quickly and that it's easily treated.

Keeping all of your CoCo wardrobe in one era would be so handy for packing! That's a great idea!

I hope whatever is going on with Guido is easily curable!
